Installation into wood joists is required. Do not install into I-beams, steel joists, concrete ceilings, or any non-traditional materials. Installation services available in select cities.

Great product. Sturdy and does a great job at organizing a garage but encountered some shipping challenges. Not all the boxes were received. This was actually identified by the Safe Racks installer who called in advance to check on what was received before installation appointment. I had to call and get that corrected. When racks were unboxed, there were several damaged shelving racks. Although the installer took pictures and submitted to Safe Rack, I still needed to call to place the claim to get things corrected. The communication process is not very efficient. In this case, 3 calls were required to get to a successful installation. Note that calls were all handled very well by customer service reps.

This is just what we needed to regain some floorspace in our garage. I was actually (pleasantly) surprised by the quality and weight of the racks. They were relatively quick and easy to install and are serving us well.
