1. Freight Shipping
Some of our products exceed the size and weight limits of regular postal carriers. Therefore, these larger and heavier items are shipped via freight carriers, and we reserve the right to select the appropriate carrier.
Please note that freight deliveries are made to your curbside; the delivery personnel are not responsible for moving items inside your home or to specific locations. We recommend arranging assistance for handling heavy or bulky items if you cannot do so yourself.
Freight shipping can be complex, and delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. As a result, we cannot guarantee precise delivery times.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders placed from Monday to Friday are processed promptly. Orders received over the weekend are typically processed on the next business day, usually Monday.
In-stock items typically ship within 2-3 business days after processing. Items on backorder may take additional business days before shipment.
While we aim to provide accurate lead times on our website, these are estimates and not guarantees due to potential supply fluctuations and unforeseen circumstances.
3. Order Confirmation
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email, which indicates that we have received your order and pre-authorized your credit card. We will then contact our suppliers to confirm the availability of your item(s) for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will cancel the pre-authorization and notify you via email. If your item is available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and prepare your order for shipment.
4. Order Shipment
For in-stock items, once your credit card has been charged, your order will typically ship within five business days from the date of your order. Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse. If you do not receive tracking information within six business days, please contact us at info@homestoragesupply.com.
5. Shipping Policy
Currently, we ship only within the continental United States. We do not ship to Hawaii and Alaska. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
6. Changing Address
If your order has already been processed or shipped and you need to change the address, we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, please expect delays for any address modifications. Any additional charges incurred due to address changes will be the customer's responsibility.
7. Shipping Times
All shipping times provided are estimates and should not be considered guarantees. We notify our vendors promptly to expedite shipping. If a customer cancels an order due to shipping delays, they are responsible for all shipping charges, fees, warehouse storage costs, and other related fees. Customers initiating chargebacks due to shipping delays will be held accountable for the associated costs.
8. Preparing for Delivery
Upon delivery, please inspect the packaging. Note any damage on the delivery receipt when signing for the item. Failure to do so may limit our ability to assist with replacements. In case of visible damage, please take photos and email them to info@homestoragesupply.com within 24 hours of delivery.
9. Damaged Items
It is your responsibility to inspect delivered products for any damage or defects and notify us within 5 business days of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of refunds, free replacement parts, discounts, or exchanges. Report damages via email to info@homestoragesupply.com, and we will provide options such as free replacement parts, discounts, or possible refunds or replacements. Do not use the items if you intend to request a replacement or refund.
10. Missing Items
If any items are missing upon delivery, report it within 5 business days by contacting us at info@homestoragesupply.com. Note the shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. If the carrier cannot locate the missing items, we will send replacements at no cost. Claims for missing items reported after 5 business days will not be accepted.
11. Stolen Packages
Home Storage Supply is not responsible for stolen packages. If your shipment is marked as "delivered" but is not received, please file a claim with the postal carrier.
12. Shipping Options
Our standard "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is always free. This option typically takes 5-15 days for delivery to your doorstep after the order is placed.
